About Sean Dobiech

I am glad that you are here, taking the first step for better mental health and wellness.
I am a person-centred therapist, accredited by the National Counselling Society, I have experience in counselling adults and young people as well as 7 years’ experience supporting people with mental health difficulties.

I know that life can bring challenges that can be understood better through sharing with a skilled listener. I also know that it is very difficult to reach out and ask to be heard. Bearing this in mind, I offer a friendly, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can explore your emotions and experiences.

Depending on your needs, I can offer long or short-term therapy. I promise to put you first, which means that you can decide how long the therapy will last. We will regularly review your therapeutic journey. I am offering face to face counselling, online and over the telephone sessions.

- As an accredited member of National Counselling Society, I work in line with NCS ethical framework.
- I seek regular supervision and continuous professional development.
- Level 4 Diploma in Person Centred Counselling.
- Level 2 Counselling Skills.
- Behaviour Activation Practitioner.

Sean Counselling Practice
- Counselling is a taking therapy where you can talk about your issues and feelings in safe, confidential place with a counsellor who is trained to listen empathically and without judgment or criticism. In my counselling practice I offer just that. I believe that safe space can be achieved in different settings and that is the reason I am offering, apart from face to face therapy, online counselling and also over the phone.
- I am person centred counsellor. Person centred therapy differs from other approaches because it is focused on the client. This is the only therapeutic approach which allows you to explore your emotions and feelings without being interrupted by the therapist.

Fees
- £35.00 to £45.00 per session
- Free initial in-person, telephone or online session.
- Concessions for low income and trainee counsellors are available.
